Artist's Comments

This picture is dedicated to our unequal social classes. The contrast between all those glamorous fashion shows and all homeless people living in those cities where fashion weeks take place seems simply appalling to me...

nice shot, the floor doesn't match the shot because you can see it's a studio shot and it appears very clean. I think it would be more dramatic to have this shot on the street or footway, because you want to show a homeless outside and not a homeless in a studio. Never mind, just my :twocents:.

i know what you mean. i junst wanted to have exactly this invert picture of a real homeless person in a clean studio shot because i think that the contrast between social classes would become more evident. however, thank you for the comment. i'll bear that in mind.

the idea with the cityname is great, hmmm ever thought of making a demotivator(tm) out of it?
:iconandipictures:
thank you very much. what's a demotivator(tm)?
:iconkingm:
the idea to take a studio is good i think. the problem is that you didn't take a real homeless person, or even did more to make the modle more look like a real homeless! Why are his fingers so clean, why does his clothing moor look like the "used-look - Series of H&M" If you would change this, the contrast between clean-studio-atmosphere and the real person would work better and would bring out your massage better! Oh and pleas change the lettering a little!

thanks for the comment and the ideas. i can see your point. the model is really too clean. i might try out the accentuation of the clean-dirty contrast next time. still there is something sterile in this atmosphere that would change if i made the model look more like a real homeless person. the photo would become more dramatic but i actually like it being austere.
how would you change the lettering?

[link] curious?...

The space between H and O and between O and M is too big in relation to the ELESS. The space between the letters of the other three words need to be bigger. The second line needs to be nearer on the word HOMELESS than on the edge

Viel Spass!
